Majdi Ashchi, DO, attended the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and received his medical degree in 1989. Furthermore, he conducted his internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (1989-1993), followed by his cardiovascular disease medicine fellowship at the Case Western Reserve University College of Medicine (1993-1996). In addition, he completed additional training in vascular and endovascular medicine at Arizona Heart Institute, Milwaukee Hospital, and Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Ashchi is also fellowship-trained in interventional cardiology at the University of Connecticut/ Hartford Hospital (1996-1997). He received board certification in internal medicine and the subspecialty of cardiovascular medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He holds several fellowships including Fellowship of the American College of Cardiology, Fellowship of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, Fellowship of the American Board of Vascular Medicine, and Fellowship of the Society of Vascular Medicine. Dr. Ashchi received an Acknowledgement for Contributions to the Legacy of Excellence in Clinical Research, Medical Education, and Patient Care from the CWRU School of Medicine (2010). The Freedom Foundation of Valley Forge awarded Dr. Ashchi with an Outstanding Achievement and Contribution to the Betterment of our City and Nation.
